Today we’re going to take a look at this slightly pointless (unless you’re a kid), but nevertheless very cool micro Dragonfly R/C helicopter
I bought the micro Dragonfly R/C helicopter from Play.com for £12.99 (inc vat & delivery), which to be honest is a bit expensive, but compared to other online shops and local shops it was by far the cheapest (found a similar one in my local town for £16, and the cheapest online one was £14).
The Micro Dragonfly R/C helicopter is quite small, as you can see from the photo (sorry, can’t take my own one with something to compare it on due to girlfriend took camera on holiday with her). It is just over 6 inches in length excluding the rotors. It comes with a charger (that plugs into your wall socket), and takes about 25-30 minutes to fully charge the battery.
From a full charge you can play with this Super Micro Dragonfly R/C Helicopter for just under 10 mins or so, which is a bit of a disapointment, but to be honest I couldn’t see myself playing with it for much longer than this anyway.
When flying about it is very easy to control and for its size gets to some impressive speeds. It is very durable and unless you’re an idiot and nose dive it straight into walls again and again, chances are it can take a fair amount of bashes before it’ll show any signs of wear.
It is a cool toy, and for under thirteen quid you can’t go wrong. Get it from Play.com.
