At only £399.99 online the Acer Aspire 5720 is set to be one of the most popular laptops for sale this christmas. It features a 1.4GHz dual core Pentium T2310 processor, 2GB of ram, 80GB hard drive, and all the usual extras with laptops. But how suitable is it for a christmas present? Is the Acer Aspire 5720 Z worth buying? We take a look.

Acer have brought out the Acer Aspire 5920G, a Core 2 Duo based glossy black with white interior sleek laptop. This laptop is based on the very popular 5920 series of laptops, but has nice extras such as a HD DVD drive and a very nice (for a laptop) 256mb nvidia geforce 8600M graphics card. The Acer 5920G is marketed as “probably the best home users laptop currently available” and it does certainly have very good specs. So lets take a look at it.
